Surgeon sidelined for shoulder reconstruction

Professor Campbell, a general, breast oncoplastic and endocrine surgeon will be replaced by locum Erica Whineray Kelly, a specialist breast surgeon from Auckland.

“Erica has a terrific reputation both as a skilled practitioner in breast surgery and also for her relationships with patients,” said Prof Campbell. “I am delighted to have secured her help during my recovery.”

Erica is a New Zealand-trained General Surgeon who has sub-specialised in breast cancer treatment. She works at Auckland Breast Centre and also in the Breast Screening Programme as a consultant and national auditor. She is on the executive of the Auckland Breast Cancer Society Group.
