The Braemar Experience: A Patients Eye View

The Braemar Experience… This is a first person – patient’s eye view of Braemar Hospital. Yes, it was me trundling in there early one morning full of trepidation over the ‘operation’ I was about to have performed on my leg.

The ever-faithful Eileen came with me to hold my hand, so to speak. It was thanks to Southern Cross Healthcare that I went ‘private’ to the new Braemar Hospital, opened in 2009. Although Braemar will take patients with or without medical insurance, I have found it helps and that private healthcare offers choice and flexibility as well as access to the best specialists without the restrictions of waiting lists.
